This Monday afternoon, through a brief statement released on its social networks, the left-wing coalition greeted the “sister country of Venezuela“for the “civic and peaceful behavior” of its people during the day, something that the Frente Amplio leadership considers “fundamental for democratic strengthening.”

The opposition party, in turn, says it will wait for the official publication by the CNE containing “all the minutes with the data broken down by polling station,” since this represents “a fundamental element for the transparency, credibility and legitimacy of the election results.”
“It (the FA) is also attentive to reports from observers of the Carter Center and the Panel of Specialists of UN“, the statement on the matter, which is signed by the Executive Secretariat of the FA, points out.
In this regard, the FA reaffirms that, once the previous conditions are met, the results must “be respected by all candidates and by the international community.”
