According to the police, the 24-year-old from Leibnitz was traveling on the L614 from Leutschach an der Weinstraße to Langegg in his home district shortly after 5.30 p.m. At the Langegg elementary school, a 41-year-old Slovenian drove towards him in a tractor with a trailer and a collision occurred.

The 41-year-old turned left into Pößnitzbergstrasse and apparently overlooked the biker. The 24-year-old collided with the trailer and died at the scene of the accident. The emergency services – Christophorus 12 and the Leutschach fire department – were unable to help the man.
