Cabildo Abierto elected its new authorities at the national level

The National Council Board defined Guido Manini Ríos as president of the party and Ignacio Curbelo as vice president.

The National Open Town Hall Board elected its new authorities at the national level last Sunday, after the party Congress supported Lorena Quintana to complete the presidential formula for the October elections together with the leader and presidential candidate, Guido Manini Rios.

Following this event, the National Board decided that Senator Guido Manini Ríos will also become the president of Town meeting (AC), succeeding the Minister of Housing and Land Management (MVOT), Raul Lozanoand Ignacio Curbelo Solari, Director General of the Secretariat of the Ministry of Tourismbe the new vice president of the political force.

Once the first session of the National Board was over, Manini Ríos read the minutes where he announced the appointment of the vice president, as well as the formation of the Fiscal Commission, Electoral Commission and Disciplinary Tribunal. “Dr. Ignacio Curbelo was appointed as vice president of Town meetingwhich was approved unanimously,” Manini Ríos stressed.

Through his X account, Curbelo said that it was “an honor” to be elected as vice president of the party and thanked Manini Ríos for the trust placed in him, while extending his greetings to all members of the National Board and the National Congress.

“Now we have to give it our all in the face of October,” the new party leader stressed through the same social network, who understands that the Manini Rios-Quintana formula is “the best” for the electoral race.

The National Board has new members

In another order, the new council members who will accompany Manini Ríos and Curbelo in the National Board were defined, these are: Dugal Cabrera, Mario Sosa, Walter López, Silvana Pérez, Wilman Caballero, Eduardo Radaelli and Wilfredo Correa.

In turn, the alternate members appointed were: Rivera Elgue, Cecilia Eguiluz, Maria Paula Amaral, Patricia Batista, Rodrigo Albernaz, Nazmi Camargo, Sandra Guimaraes and Alvaro Fernandez.
