Which sectors have seen the largest wage increases so far this year?

How did each sector fare in the private sector?

So far this year, the largest increase in the private sector was Transport, storage and communications, with 5.62%, higher than the 3.62% of the CPI cumulative. The increase reaches 10.14% if we look at the comparison over the last 12 months.

Public administration

As regards public administration, Central government had the best increase of the first half of the year, with a rise of 6.22%. However, the improvement over the last 12 months was 6.41%.

In turn, the sector Public enterprises improved by 6.15% in the annual accumulation, reaching 6.86% annually, while the Departmental Governments reached 4.32% half-yearly and 5.73% in the last 12 months.
