At around 1:10 a.m., the intoxicated 32-year-old drove her car off the road in a left-hand bend in Altmünster at Franz-Schubert-Straße 1. Her 41-year-old husband was sitting in the passenger seat.

Accident with significant property damage

She hit a street lamp, a water hydrant and drove into a hedge, where the vehicle came to a stop. Due to the smell and other signs, a breathalyzer test showed a blood alcohol level of 1.68 per mille, and the police took away the woman’s driving license.

The car was badly damaged, as was the hedge of a house. A fire hydrant was torn out and the street lamp was also damaged. The 32-year-old and her husband were uninjured.
