A 43-year-old from Innviertel was out and about in the Dachstein-West ski area when the accident occurred at around 11.30 a.m. A ten-year-old boy was driving over the 43-year-old’s skis when the latter tried to overtake him. The man was able to hold on to his skis for a short time, but the ski bindings opened, he fell heavily and remained lying on the edge of the piste.
