Picnic in Vienna’s Prater: An intercultural Swiftie meeting

And the day before, dozens of people come together to get in the mood for the upcoming performances and to meet like-minded people – for a cheerful picnic.

The meeting was organized by Frenchwoman Mahée Pradel. The primary school teacher has been a hardcore Swiftie for three years, and what she particularly appreciates about fan culture is the community. When asked, she explains that she planned the event primarily for international fans, who often travel alone. And indeed, those present come from everywhere and happily network.
