“Vice President Harris and former President Trump have confirmed they will attend”the media outlet indicated on the social network X. It will be the first face-to-face meeting of both candidates for the White House, after the president Joe Biden withdraw his candidacy.
Shortly before, Trump had offered to debate with Harris three times in September, at a press conference held at his residence in Mar-a-Lago, in Florida.
“We agreed with Fox on September 4, with NBC (…) on September 10 and with ABC on September 25,” he said.before his campaign clarified that he had been mistaken and was referring to ABC in relation to the September 10 date.
Donald Trump warned of a US depression like the one in 1929 and a world war
Previously, the Republican called an unusual press conference in which warned of the advent of a economic depression in the country like that of 1929which could be accompanied by the third world war.
“Our country is currently in the most dangerous position he has ever been in from an economic and security point of view,” the former president began.
He then assured that “many bad things are coming ahead, We could end up in a depression like the one in 1929.which would be devastating, it would take us many years, decades to recover from it and we are very close to that and we are very close to a world war”.
