The acquisition was made in a tender awarded to the company S2 Global INC, in 2023, which involves the contracting of a Non-Intrusive X-ray Inspection service for cargo and vehicles, for customs control purposes, reported the MEF.

The start of operation of the new equipment is scheduled for the next few weeks, and both the operation and maintenance of the software image interpretation will be carried out by customs officials.

Technology to combat drug trafficking
