MEPs took part in meeting despite positive PCR test – justice determined

The woman had probably tested positive for the corona virus in a state parliament session in November. As the public prosecutor’s office spokeswoman Tina Frimmel-Hesse said on Monday in response to an APA request, after the immunity has been lifted, it will be investigated for deliberate endangerment of people by communicable diseases.

The mandatary announced the day after the meeting that she had only read an SMS on that day in which she was told that she had tested positive for the corona virus. She therefore probably came to the meeting infected. It was not possible to clarify until the very end whether she had actually received the SMS before the session of the state parliament, the mandate said that she had accidentally deleted the SMS. A week after the meeting there were three more MPs tested positive.
