The Spring is the first fully electric car from the Romanian Renault subsidiary Dacia. More than 140,000 units of the vehicle, which celebrated its market launch in this country in 2021 and is produced in China by Dongfeng, have been sold to date, and more than 1,200 units have been newly registered in Austria.

It is interesting to see how previous Spring customers have used their electric cars in everyday life. According to the data collected via the vehicle’s networked systems, Spring drivers drive an average of 37 kilometers a day – at an average speed of 37 km/h. It was also found that 90 percent of all trips were shorter than 70 kilometers, and 75 percent of the time the electric car is charged at home.
