The Virgentalstrasse (L24) was buried between two districts over a length of around 60 metres to a depth of up to two metres. An on-site inspection on Monday morning revealed that the road must remain closed until further notice, the state announced. Prägraten was therefore not accessible by road for the time being.

An emergency route for emergency services has been set up, it was said. The electricity and water supply to the community has also been secured. The section between the districts of Bobojach and Wallhorn was affected. In addition, as a result of the storm, several streams overflowed their banks between Prägraten and the district of Hinterbichl and blocked the road.
