The “Literaturschiff” initiative will kick off its autumn events with a reading by Alexandra Stahl and Anna Maria Stadler in the Micheldorf community library on Friday, September 6th at 7:30 p.m. “Women who die laughing” is the title of Stahl’s novel, which is about friendship and the longing for a fulfilled life and is based in Berlin as a freelance author and journalist. Salzburg author Stadler will present her novel “Halbnah”, which is about three women.
A week later, on Friday, September 13th, at 7 p.m., Reinhard Kaiser-Mühlecker will be performing “Burning Fields” at the Huber organic farm in Sierning in Gunersdorf. The author and farmer, who was born in Kirchdorf and grew up in Eberstalzell, knows the rural idyll behind which the abyss lurks very well. He tells a gripping and twisty story about a woman whose restlessness collides with life.
