The measure, which will be valid for one month, is intended to provide state support for cleaning up the coast and rivers around the city, the ANA news agency reported on Saturday. The environmental disaster is a result of flooding caused by heavy rains in the Thessaly region last year. A lake that had been drained decades ago was filled with water and large areas were flooded.
