An S7 Airlines plane en route from Moscow to Antalya, Turkey, landed at an alternate airfield in Dalaman. The crew made this decision due to poor conditions at the destination airport. This was announced on Tuesday, January 11, at the press service of the airline.
Flight 3741 from Dalaman to Antalya is scheduled for 02:30 Moscow time, but the exact departure time will depend on the weather in Antalya, S7 said.
All passengers awaiting departure will be provided with food and drinks. Tourists awaiting departure from Antalya to the Russian capital will also be provided with the necessary food. Accommodation in a hotel is offered, the airline said.
Earlier, on January 10, more than 70 flights were delayed or canceled at Moscow airports. So, at the Domodedovo airport 19 flights were delayed and one was canceled. At Sheremetyevo, 14 flights were delayed and 26 canceled. At Vnukovo airport, the departure time of 12 flights was changed.
On January 6, it became known that 90 passengers were kicked out of the airport in Kaluga at night. Air passengers tried to fly to Simferopol, but could not do this due to the breakdown of the aircraft. At the same time, the airline did not provide passengers with food or accommodation in an emergency.
