Businessmen from 30 countries come to Rosario in search of investment opportunities and potential partners

This Tuesday starts the Santa Fe Business Foruma program of stimulus for entrepreneurs promoted by the Ministry of Productive Development of the province of Santa Fe, through Santa Fe Global, the Foreign Trade agency of the Government of Santa Fe, which promotes foreign trade and investments in the region, and the Agency for Cooperation, Investment and Foreign Trade (ACICE).

The meeting It will take place from Tuesday 3rd to Thursday 5th September and will bring together foreign companies with local firms to generate trade agreements and promote investments.

More than 200 representatives of major international companies from 30 countries are expected to attend. Representatives of 10 investment funds will also participate.

Potential investors will also have the opportunity to tour the entire province, visiting industrial plants and commercial sites.

The event will be divided into three fundamental axes: International Business Roundtable, Auditorium, training and workshops and Investment Forum (sectoral tables, networking).

This strategic forum promotes the competitiveness and development of SMEs by connecting them with the world. “The aim is to promote effective commercial relations for Santa Fe companies, to optimally satisfy the demands of the global market and Turn Santa Fe into a key destination for foreign investment in productive sectors,” the organization reported.

Among the exhibitors are Juan Pazo, Coordinating Secretary of Production at MECON; Pablo Lavigne, Secretary of Commerce; Nicolás Quintana, head of the Argentine Agency for Investment and International Trade; Marcos Ayerra, Secretary of Knowledge Economy; Federico Trucco, from Bioceres; Martín Méndez, from Neoris; Mariano Mayer, from Newtopia VC, the ambassadors of India, the European Union, Morocco, Indonesia and the Commercial Counselor of China, among others.

The productive sectors that will be represented include Food, Chemical Products, Clothing, Machinery, Auto Parts, Agriculture, Knowledge Economy, Construction and Biofuels.

The opening of the meeting will be this Tuesday at 10:00 and will be led by Governor Maximiliano Pullaro, the Minister of Productive Development. Gustavo Puccini will also speak; the Undersecretary of Export and Investment Promotion of the Argentine Foreign Ministry Ramiro Velloso; the Secretary of Foreign Trade Georgina Losada and the Mayor of Rosario, Pablo Javkin.

Regarding the expectations surrounding this forum, the governor of the province of Santa Fe, Maximiliano Pullaro, highlighted: “We have all the potential that the world needs at this moment to be able to come and invest, so that Our companies can make themselves known and can show what the identity of being Santa Fe iswhich is tenacity in effort and work. Here we have a provincial government that supports us very firmly and that plans, together with the private sector, to enhance the best of us. We also have a national government that supports the development of the productive sector and we have the full expectation that, now that it has the tools, it can generate a higher level of investment in Argentina.”

“For us this event is the most important and significant of the year. It is a unique and innovative event, where people from abroad will come to do business.. When Santa Fe takes off, the Argentine Republic will take off, because our province will be the engine and the productive locomotive of the country,” he added.

For his part, the Minister of Productive Development, Gustavo Puccini, said: “The demand in the world requires more and more quality, more sustainability and this new development model is what our province is working on. We are inviting you so that buyers and investors can come to our province and have the opportunity to know what Santa Fe is, Messi’s land, Rosario, our ports and airports. They will learn about our industries, our fields, our science and our development technology.”

For her part, the Secretary of Foreign Trade, Georgina Losada, explained that “Santa Fe Business Forum has three areas of work: an international business roundtable, training and workshops, and an investment forum with sectoral tables. This allows companies that were never able to participate in a trade mission to access the international market.. In addition, we are going to create productive circuits for them to visit companies, technological hubs and metropolitan areas.”
