The complaint against the French rugby players

The complainant is A 39-year-old woman who accused the athletes of having beaten and raped her the night of July 6-7 in the hotel room where they were staying with the rest of the French rugby team in the center of Mendoza, after a match against their Argentine counterparts Los Pumas.

For their part, the accused They deny the acts of violence and affirm that the sexual relations were consensual.

The rugby players were arrested on July 8 and spent a week in a detention center until they were granted house arrest in Mendoza and released on August 12, after which they traveled to Buenos Aires, where they await the court’s decision.
