From 5 p.m. the corona demonstration march moved from the main square towards the Goethe intersection. 15 participants and one car were involved. After the U-turn at the Goethe Crossing, the police checked compliance with the Covid regulations. When the driver noticed this, he immediately drove the car onto the rails of the tram and parked it there. The demonstration train had previously moved on the sidewalk.
He ignored the request to release the lock and got out of the car. He also made it clear that it wasn’t his car and that he had received the order from the owner. The owner himself made no move to remove the car, but placed himself with his microphone in front of the tram driving in the opposite direction, so that it was also prevented from continuing. After the check, which resulted in eight reports of disregarding the mask requirement, was ended, the blockade was also broken again, the march started moving and ended shortly before 8 a.m. in the old town. The two blockers are reported for disturbance of public order.
