Autumn is also the best time to plant trees. The “1000 trees for Steyr” campaign is therefore gaining momentum again right now. Environmentalist and tree lover Ute Fickert was actually supposed to receive “her” tree, a columnar oak, from friends for her 50th birthday last year. Unfortunately, the well-known Steyr resident became seriously ill in the meantime, so the handover of this beautiful tree of life near the swimming school was only made up for now.
