Vorchdorf post office is secured

The Revital shop behind the Vorchdorfer Spar supermarket will move to Bahnhofstrasse in the spring. Revital takes over the post office in the Bahnhofstraße there – and its duties as a post partner at the same time.

This is a win-win situation for everyone involved: Swiss Post can use it to secure its presence in Vorchdorf. The socio-economic facility Revital, on the other hand, can expand the range of jobs for its employees and at the same time gets an attractive location in the center of Vorchdorf. But the population also benefits. For postal customers, essentially nothing will change in the daily postal services. In addition, you can now convince yourself of the wide range of revitalized goods in the Revital shop.

The postal partnership has been agreed for the next few years. The change is expected to take place in the spring, in May from today’s perspective. Mayor Johann Mitterlehner (ÖVP) is happy that a reliable postal partner has been found and that the post office location in Bahnhofstrasse is now being upgraded thanks to the new shop.

In cooperation with the district waste association (BAV), Revital has set itself the goal of making a contribution to waste avoidance and the conscious use of resources and environmental protection. Used goods and equipment are collected, revitalized and offered for sale in the Revital shops in Vorchdorf and Altmünster. In addition to the contribution to environmental and climate protection, job seekers are supported in their job search and get to know new professional fields. Qualification and training complete the offer of the AMS project.
