The judges declared null and void the opinion of prosecutor Guillermo Marijuan who had requested the dismissal of Cristina Kirchner. They asked for further evidence to be taken.
The Federal Chamber of Buenos Aires revoked this Tuesday the dismissal of the former president in the case known as “Money trail”after declaring null and void the opinion of prosecutor Guillermo Marijuan who had nominated him.
After years of investigation, prosecutor Marijuan maintained that he did not have sufficient evidence to link the former president to the money laundering schemes for which businessman Lázaro Báez had been convicted, who had won several public works tenders between 2003 and 2015.
It was the judges of the Federal Court, Mariano Llorens and Pablo Bertuzzi, with Eduardo Farah dissenting, who declared the dismissal of Cristina Kirchner null and void and ordered the pending evidence measures to be carried out.

Among the questions raised by the judges, they raised the following doubt: “how do you explain the fact that Néstor and Cristina Kirchner, represented by their son Máximo, have sold nine properties to ‘Austral Construcciones SA’, related to Lázaro or Martín Báez, as well as the sale of another property of the aforementioned couple to the firm Epelco, also belonging to the Báez family?”

Finally, Caputo closed his message with a joke, accompanied by Argentine flags: “Your husband was right when he said you knew nothing about economics.“Stay quiet and scream, that’s the most you can do, because you’re never going to govern again.”
