The silent demonstration took place under the motto “Yes we care”, modeled on the rally in Vienna under the same title.
Shortly before 6:00 p.m., the participants stepped onto the roadway of the Viktringer Ring in Klagenfurt and placed candles on the median. With the event, which had no banners or chants, the organizers also wanted to express gratitude to the healthcare workers.
The rally was planned as a silent counterpart to the demos of the Corona measures opponents. Such a one took place in Klagenfurt on Saturday at noon, according to the police with up to 2,000 participants.
