The AFIP reported in detail about the deadlines and prescription of Monotributo debts in the next month.
The Federal Public Revenue Administration (AFIP) is responsible for the application, collection and supervision of national taxes, social security resources and the control of foreign trade activities with the objective of administering and regulating the tax system.
In that sense, the organization led by Florencia Misrahi reported, through an official statement, the maturity date of debts within the Monotributo. And it established that the tax obligations of those who adhere to this regime must be met until the 20th of each month.

Likewise, he emphasized that it is necessary for the owners to comply with these payments.
When do monotribute debts expire?
It is worth mentioning that Monotributo debts expire five years from their origin. and, if the date falls on a holiday or weekend, the due date is moved to first business day following.
The monthly fee includes tax component and contributions to the social work and the retirement. In that sense, the AFIP has this period to demand payment of a debt and, if it does not do so, it will expire.
Consequently, the debts of the period 2016 prescribed at the beginning of 2024.
Current monotax scales in 2024
The monotax regime presents the following scales of maximum annual income for each category in September 2024:
- Category A: $3,000
- Category B: $5,700
- Category C: $9,800 (services) and $9,000 (commerce)
- Category D: $16,000 (services) and $14,900 (commerce)
- Category E: $30,000 (services) and $23,800 (commerce)
- Category F: $42,200 (services) and $31,000 (commerce)
- Category G: $76,800 (services) and $38,400 (commerce)
- Category H: $220,000 (services) and $110,000 (commerce)
- Category I: $175,000 (commerce) and $437,500 (services)
- Category J: $210,000 (commerce) and $525,000 (services)
- Category K: $245,000 (commerce) and $735,000 (services)
