Unknown attackers reported to the administration of Kiev about the mining of several metro stations in the Ukrainian capital. This was reported in the press service of the metro in social networks.
It is noted that for the survey, in particular, the Poznyaki metro station was closed. The reason was an anonymous call about its mining.
The threat turned out to be false, no explosive devices were found. In addition, the Darnitsa station was closed at the entrance and exit – also because of an anonymous call about mining.
On January 12, the security forces of Kiev received a message about the mining of four metro stations. The information was received by e-mail of the Security Service of Ukraine. The threat also turned out to be false.
On January 13, all schools were evacuated due to reports of “mining” in the city of Saratov as well. Due to building inspections, classes for students have been cancelled.
According to information security researchers from T.Hunter, most of the mining calls that have flooded Russia since the beginning of 2022 are made from the territory of Ukraine.
In total, experts studied several hundred accounts in such chats and groups, which made it possible to identify about 20 administrators and creators of Telegram chats.
