A spokeswoman announced that the company applied for restructuring proceedings without self-administration on Tuesday. A continuation of the business, which employs 60 people, is planned.
Drastically changed general conditions such as the corona pandemic, ongoing delivery difficulties and delays made it necessary for the traditional Austrian company Lena Hoschek GmbH to take the matter to the Vienna Commercial Court.
“We didn’t make this decision easy for ourselves, but given the current challenges, we have reached a point where, as a responsible entrepreneur, I have to apply for restructuring proceedings,” said the 43-year-old from Graz in a broadcast. “First and foremost, it’s about securing the future and, above all, jobs.”
