The PRO foundation brought together the provincial leaders of San Juan, Mendoza and Jujuy to discuss the challenges of one of the most promising sectors in the country.

The results are a long-term investment that will boost the Mendoza economy, with a direct impact on salaries. That is why we need the support of all political and social sectors, in addition to a favorable macro and legal security as essential elements to accompany investments.”

Mining: exports accumulate US$2,167 million, what are the most sold minerals and where?

The mineral exports totaled US$244 million in July and accumulated a total of US$2,167 million during the first seven months of 2024.

Given these amounts, exports of mining products represented 3.8% of total Argentine exports in July 2024 and 4.9% in the accumulated amount of the first 7 months of 2024.

This is equivalent to a year-on-year drop in values ​​of 35.4% for the month of July and a year-on-year drop of 6.8% for the year as a whole. Besides, The cumulative figure for 2024 is 3.4% above the average level in these months from 2010 to 2023.

The mineral trade balance for the first seven months of 2024 is 2.7% above the 2010-2023 average for the period.
