Three injured women, three damaged vehicles and significant traffic disruptions: This is the outcome of a rear-end collision late on Monday afternoon between Straßham and Alkoven in the Eferding district. The accident happened around 4:15 p.m. near a garden center where an 89-year-old had stopped her Renault to turn left. A truck driver following behind noticed the braking too late and drove into the elderly woman’s car. The car was pushed into the oncoming lane and collided with the oncoming car of a 22-year-old.
