A Buenos Aires prosecutor will begin today to take investigative statements from 16 influencers accused of promoting illegal gambling websites as a result of a judicial investigation which included raids and an arrest in a private neighborhood on the Atlantic Coast of Buenos Aires.
The investigations will be taken by prosecutor Juan Rozas, from the Specialized Gambling Prosecutor’s Office of the City of Buenos Aires and the summonses were issued to appear at the prosecutor’s office headquarters, Paseo Colón Avenue 1333.
Who are the influencers summoned to testify?
The complete list includes Elián “L-Gante” Valenzuela, Traniela Campolieto, Florence Vigna, Florencia Pena, Morena Rial, Romina Uhrig, Williams Lopez, Agostina Spinelli, Federico Farías (Apple), Emmanuel Vich, Camila Lattanzio, Mathias Vasile, Marito Laurens, Joaquin Lopez and Alma Berezowski.
The latter should open the round of investigations if they appear to be summoned during this day.
As explained by judicial sources, they were charged with alleged violation of article 301 bis of the Penal Code, which punishes anyone who exploits, manages, operates or organizes “by themselves or through third parties, any form or system of attracting games of chance without having the “pertinent authorization issued by the competent jurisdictional authority”.
Among the sites investigated is “zeusoficial online casino”which would have worked without logging.
