The new Spider-Man movie in the Marvel universe already has a release date

Holland last played Spider-Man in 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Spider-Man will return to theaters on July 24, 2026, Sony announced on Friday. Tom Holland returns for the as-yet-untitled Spider-Man 4 movie, which features Destin Daniel Cretton as director.

The last time Holland played Spider-Man was in Spider-Man: No Way Home 2021, the multi-universe film that generated $1.916 million at the global box office despite the challenges of the coronavirus pandemic. Previously, he starred Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) and Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019) and appeared in Captain America: Civil War (2016), Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Avengers: Endgame (2019).

Tom Holland and a year of great productions

Holland is expected to film the new Spider-Man movie next year, which will make for a very busy year. He will also film the next movie Christopher Nolan and could participate in Avengers: Doomsday from Marvel Studios.

Holland will be everywhere in the summer of 2026. A week before the release of Spider-Man 4, he will be on the big screen in Universal’s Nolan film, which opens July 17, 2026. And if he does appear in Doomsday, that movie is released on May 1, 2026.
