Driving far in the Grandland

The Grandland has been cruising through the country since 2017. And this very successfully. Now Opel is introducing the second generation: longer and without pure combustion engines. But with a lot of electric. And with a range of up to 584 kilometers. 700 kilometers should soon be possible: with a new 97 kWh battery.

The Rüsselsheim SUV is growing significantly. The Grandland is 173 millimeters longer, 36 millimeters higher and 49 millimeters wider than its predecessor – dimensions that benefit both the passengers and the luggage compartment. The rear seat can be split in a 40:20:40 ratio and provides a loading volume of 550 to 1645 liters. For the predecessor the data was 514 to 1652 liters.

Plenty of assistance systems

Opel offers a wide range of assistance systems: adaptive cruise control, intelligent speed adjustment (speed limit is adhered to), parking pilot for front and rear, rear view camera with automatic cleaning function, glare-free Intelli-Lux HD light with more than 50,000 light points, etc.

In the basic version, the central display measures 10 inches; a 16-inch display is optionally available – as is the head-up display.
