The New Railway Bridge is architecturally impressive.

Just a radius of one kilometer separates them from each other: that’s how close the Med Campus Linz, the Ars Electronica Center and the new railway bridge are. What connects them is not only the city in which they are located, but also their architectural peculiarity. What many people in Linz might not particularly notice caught Martin Steinkellner’s eye. It was worth it for the Linz architectural photographer.

At the renowned “Architecture Masterprize” the 53-year-old was honored for three series of images subtly composed of perspectives, mood and light.

With his series of images of the Med Campus he won in the “Educational Exterior” category; for the AEC and the railway bridge he received honorable mentions in the “Cultural Exterior” and “Bridges” categories.
