Electoral times do not leave candidates any room to breathe. Much less in Uruguay where competition is long and requires permanent reviews. Sunday night’s results officially inaugurated the runoff stage, something that, however, Yamandu Orsiof the Broad Front (FA) and Alvaro Delgado (PN) they had on their mind from before. We said it: the last days of last week found everyone, opposition and coalition parties, thinking about the second round.
