Subscribers condemn Fox News host Tucker Carlson for words about Russia

Fox News TV presenter Tucker Carlson was criticized by Twitter subscribers after talking about a possible war between the United States and Russia. The reason was a fragment of Carlson’s dialogue with a political observer about the situation around Ukraine, published by a TV presenter.

On the eve of the show, the TV presenter talked with a political observer about the situation around Ukraine. Later, Carlson published a fragment of the dialogue with the caption “America is getting closer to war with Russia, and the media is encouraging it.”

Most commentators did not like the mood of the journalist.

“What happened to the peaceful relations with Russia that Trump promised?” one of them asked.

“The Russians will be shocked when they see how our soldiers are able to make videos for TikTok,” wrote another.

Someone thought that Russia does not need to bomb the United States, since the country is falling apart, and nothing can prevent this.

“Russia can just sit back and watch,” the user added.

Another suggested that attempting a conflict with Russia would be a fatal mistake for the White House.

On the eve of the Pentagon said that the United States does not plan to send troops to Ukraine. Also during the briefing, a representative of the US State Department said that Washington will continue to send military assistance to Ukraine to strengthen its defense capability, new deliveries will take place in the coming weeks.

On the same day, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov called on US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken not to replicate speculation about the allegedly impending “Russian aggression” in Ukraine, but to force Kiev to comply with the Minsk agreements. Earlier, he noted that Kiev is obliged to comply with the Minsk agreements, it cannot have any plan B. According to him, Ukraine is under the external control of the United States.

On January 16, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov stressed that Russia does not show military escalation against Ukraine.

On November 24, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the sending of military advisers and weapons to Ukraine by Western countries leads to further pressure on the line of contact in the Donbass.
