Accident on the A1 near Allhaming: Fire brigade rescued the passenger

The passenger had to be freed from the wreckage by the fire department.

The fire brigade, rescue service, emergency doctor and police were alerted to an accident on the A1 on Wednesday around 1:40 p.m.: A van had crashed into the back of a truck in the municipality of Allhaming in the direction of Linz. The cause of the accident was still under investigation on Wednesday.

According to initial information, the passenger of the van had to be freed from the badly damaged vehicle by the Allhaming and Pucking-Hasenufer fire departments. He and the driver of the Mercedes are believed to have survived the accident without any serious injuries. They were examined at the scene by an emergency doctor and refused further medical treatment.
