Marvel previously announced that Daredevil: Born Again was set to debut on March 4, but the trailer finally provides the first solid look at the show, which will continue the events of the series Daredevil which was broadcast in Netflix for three seasons from 2015 to 2018. Matt Murdock from Charlie Cox and Kingpin of Vincent D’Onofrio They have already appeared a few times, including in the series Disney+ Hawkeye, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law and Echo. Also returning: Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle (aka Punisher) and Wilson Bethel as Benjamin “Dex” Poindexter (aka Bullseye). The trailer also includes a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it shot of the menacing white-masked villain, Muse.
On June 24, Ironheartwhich continues the story of genius inventor Riri Williams (Dominic Thorne), presented for the first time in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever 2022, will finally debut after starting production in June 2022. As the trailer shows off Riri’s prowess with her super suit, we hear from Anthony Ramos as the villain, Parker Robbins (aka Hood), explain his morally dubious philosophy: “Anyone who has achieved anything iconic in life has had to do some questionable things to achieve it.”
The trailer only offered two tantalizing images from the animated series Eyes of Wakandawhich will detail the War Dogs of Wakanda’s efforts throughout the nation’s history to recover vibranium artifacts. The four-episode series will premiere on August 6.
Marvel Zombiesin which many of the studio’s most beloved superheroes, including Captain America, Scarlet Witch, Captain Marvel and Clint Barton, become part of an army of the undead, will be Marvel’s first animated show for TV. MA. Naturally, it is scheduled to debut in October 2025.
The trailer’s most surprising reveal came in a short footage of wonder manstarring Emmy winner Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (“Watchmen”, “Aquaman”) as Simon Williams. In the comics, the character is a business scion who runs afoul of Stark Industries on his way to becoming the titular superhero, but in the trailer, we first meet Abdul-Mateen’s Simon as an actor auditioning to play Wonder Man, setting up the show to be a meta-comedy about Hollywood and superhero storytelling. We also get a taste of what happens when Simon crosses paths with Trevor Slattery, the deadbeat actor played by Ben Kingsley in Iron Man 3 and Shang-Chi and the legend of the ten rings. The program will debut in December 2025.
The studio also announced that the third and final season of What If…?the animated series that explores the multiverse in search of alternate stories for well-known characters, will debut later this year on December 22. The show is likely to repeat the release pattern of season 2, when a new episode premiered every day from December 22, 2023 until the rest of the month.
