Unknown people fired at a school bus in the American city of Pittsburgh (Pennsylvania), as a result of which a 15-year-old teenager died from severe wounds. On Thursday, January 20, reports CBS News with reference to the local police.
The publication notes that law enforcement officers are currently looking for two suspects in the shooting at a van parked near Oliver’s Pittsburgh City Academy.
“The victim of this shooting died in the hospital. The units that went to the scene found a 15-year-old young man who had at least one gunshot wound to the chest,” the police said in a statement. Twitter.
According to investigators, only the student and the driver were on the bus at the time of the incident. The car was shot at from the outside at 13:30 ET (21:30 Moscow time).
Medics took the injured teenager to the hospital in critical condition, where he later died. No one else was hurt as a result of the incident.
According to police, the shooters were two young men dressed in dark clothing and wearing masks. Law enforcement officers are investigating the circumstances of the incident, including whether there was any connection between the shooters and the deceased.
