Trump told his audience in Pittsburgh that the US mixed martial arts organization UFC should set up a league in which professional fighters would fight with migrants.

“In the end, I want the migrants to compete against the champions. And I think the migrants could actually win – that’s how nasty some of these guys are,” Trump said. A little later, he assured the crowd he had whipped up that serious crimes committed by migrants would be harshly punished in the future if his Republicans won the election. “I hereby demand the death penalty for any migrant who kills an American citizen or a police officer,” said the 78-year-old to cheers from numerous supporters.
Trump made restricting illegal immigration one of his central issues in the election campaign, repeatedly portrayed migrants as enemies of America and deliberately used false claims to create sentiment against foreigners.
Tuesday will be “Liberation Day”
During the election campaign appearance in Pennsylvania, Trump emphatically addressed the almost 13 million residents of what is probably the most important swing state. “If we win in Pennsylvania, we win everything,” he shouted to his supporters in Reading. The Republican continued that he had waited four years for this moment. “America, November 5, 2024 will be the day of liberation.” It was the second of four planned appearances by the 78-year-old on Monday (local time).
JD Vance calls Harris “trash”
The Republican candidate for US Vice President, JD Vance, ended his campaign with an insult to Trump’s opponent Kamala Harris. “We’re going to take out the trash in Washington DC, and the trash is called Kamala Harris,” Vance said during an appearance in the state of New Hampshire.
