Accusations against Russia of a possible attack on Ukraine are a bluff, they are trying to provoke Moscow. This was announced on Thursday, January 20, by the head of the Russian delegation at the talks in Vienna on military security and arms control Konstantin Gavrilov.
“They are using these speculations to influence the position of Russia, nothing more. It was said at all levels – we are not going to attack Ukraine, we do not need it. This is propaganda to have a good negotiating position before starting real negotiations. I think that this is all a bluff, ”he said on the air of the RT television channel.
The diplomat said that Russia is blamed for everything, no matter what happens.
Gavrilov noted that the Russian Federation is trying to do everything possible to prevent provocations from the Ukrainian forces on the border.
