The Traun fire brigade together with the company fire brigade Dr. Franz Feurstein Ges.mbH shortly after 8 p.m. to a reported room fire in an apartment building. After just 7 minutes, the first fire engine from FF Traun was on site and replaced the neighbor, who had already unlocked the apartment door with an existing key and made the first attempts to extinguish the fire.
While fleeing the smoke through the stairwell, a person from one of the upper floors suffered from smoke inhalation. The emergency services then found a lifeless person in the affected apartment on the ground floor. Any help came too late for them. The identity of the dead person is not yet known. After about an hour and a half, the operation was over.
After about an hour and a half, the operation for the two fire brigades was over.
