Zelensky thanked Canada for allocating 0 million to support Ukraine

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky thanked Canada for allocating $120 million to support the country. The Ukrainian leader wrote about this on Friday, January 21, in Twitter.

“We welcome Canada’s decision to allocate $120 million to support Ukraine. A strong Ukraine is the key to European security. Canada once again demonstrates a genuine commitment to the spirit of a special partnership between the two countries,” Zelensky wrote.

On the eve of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine said that the country receives military assistance from international partners in unprecedented volumes. The day before, it became known that the UK had delivered several thousand anti-tank missiles to Ukraine in case of a “Russian invasion.”

On January 21, Russian Senator Alexei Pushkov said the United States should stop supplying Ukraine with weapons. According to him, Moscow should receive “the necessary security guarantees” that the West does not have “aggressive plans.”

Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov stressed on January 18 that sending British weapons to Ukraine does not help reduce tensions. “It’s extremely dangerous,” he said.
