In Austria the savings rate is higher than it has been for a long time. But will there be enough money for retirement? How do you secure high returns, invest profitably and also save wisely?
These are the questions that the experts will answer at the OÖN Money Day, which will take place on November 29th in the Linz Promenade Galleries. The first discussion begins at 12:45 p.m. It has the provocative title: “Our pension system: nail in the coffin for our prosperity?” Discussing this: Heinrich Schaller, General Director of Raiffeisenlandesbank, Stefanie Christina Huber, General Director of Sparkasse Oberösterreich, Oberbank Board Director Martin Seiter, Hypo Oberösterreich Board Chairman Klaus Kumpfmüller and economist Carmen Treml (Agenda Austria).
2:05 p.m.: Stock market talk with Felix Strohbichler, CFO of the crane manufacturer Palfinger, and Florian Heindl (FACC). They will provide impressions of the work of listed companies.
In the second round of discussions, experts will have their say who will discuss forms of investment other than stocks and savings accounts: “Gold, concrete gold, bonds as an alternative?” On the podium: Manfred Pammer (Athos Immobilien), Andrea Lang (Münze Österreich), Werner Lehner (WSS), Andreas Fellner (Partner Bank). The discussion will take place from 2:20 p.m. to 3:20 p.m.
