This Wednesday, November 13, will be a day of rest for the inhabitants of two towns in the province of Buenos Aires: the municipality of Salliqueló and the city of Arribeñoswhich belongs to the municipality of General Arenales. The reason is the celebration of their respective founding anniversaries, which grant a special holiday for employees of Banco Provincia and public administration in these areas.

According to the resolution 530/2024 published in the Buenos Aires Official Gazette, this holiday is also established as “optional holiday” for commerce, industry and other activities, which means that it is up to each employer to determine if their workers will have a day off. In Salliqueló, the celebrations will not be limited only to the day of November 13, but will also be will extend until Saturday the 23rd, with an agenda that includes a vintage car show, an art festival and a traditional milonga on the platform, among other activities that highlight the community spirit and the celebration of its history.
