This is how you get over the Danube Valley Bridge

You won’t cross the Danube Valley Bridge at high speed: a maximum of 60 km/h is permitted. You don’t need a vignette – and it will stay that way for a long time. Only when the entire A26 is expected to be completed in 2035 will the vignette have to be stuck when you drive over the Danube Valley Bridge.

Although only two lanes on the bridge and three of the four entrances and exits will be opened on Friday, expectations are high: traffic volumes are expected to decrease noticeably on both Rudolfstrasse and the Nibelungen Bridge. However, a new traffic bottleneck is emerging: traffic in the already busy Römerberg tunnel is expected to increase again – despite new traffic lights and a new turning lane.
