Live from 6:45 p.m.: Black Wings are guests in Bolzano

It’s not a big chest – but at least some self-confidence: The Black Wings come to Bolzano with an away win in their luggage to the runner-up HCB Südtirol, where the two teams will meet at 7:45 p.m. today. Although Linz could not shine in the 3-2 shootout victory in Dornbirn, it was an efficient performance for an away team.

HCB Südtirol, on the other hand, felt like Dornbirn. In the South Tyrol derby against HC Pustertal, Bozen was already 2-0 up, but Pustertal equalized and won in extra time. In the table, however, Bolzano and Linz separate ten places. The last-season runner-up has an average of 1.686 points per game — about twice the Black Wings’ average (0.853 points per game). The signs are therefore clearly distributed.

In terms of personnel, Emilio Romig and Rafael Rotter remain two shaky candidates. Like yesterday in Dornbirn, it will probably only be decided at short notice about an assignment.
