It wasn’t much. But one or two centimeters of snow was enough to cover parts of the country in a white coat on Thursday morning – and to make winter sports fans dream. The first flakes danced from the sky not only in the Salzkammergut and at higher altitudes in the Mühlviertel, even the roofs on the Pöstlingberg in the Linz city area were slightly covered in sugar, as images from the webcam showed:
