The protesters held banners criticizing the Prime Minister, Alexander De Croo, and the health passport, which is mandatory to access many places, such as restaurants and leisure activities.
“What has happened since 2020 has made people wake up,” said Francesca Fanara, who attended the protest from Lille, in northern France, while Adolfo Barbosa, who arrived from Portugal, denounced a “health dictatorship”, according to the AFP news agency.
