A network wants to move the Steyr region together

“We want to discuss, network, address problems, think of solutions and then set them in motion,” says Daniela Zeiner, Managing Director of TIC Steyr. “With the Steyr future region network, something sustainable should be created in order to promote long-term interaction between all people in the region.”

The network’s new annual program is already online, the packages have been put together, and many new event formats such as the joint network hike on May 11 have been devised. What is also new is that not only large companies can be part of the future region, but also students, private individuals, founders, EPUs and micro-enterprises. You are all invited to participate and contribute your ideas and commitment. “We want to actively shape the future together,” says Mayor Markus Vogl, who has been involved in the development of the Steyr Region of the Future network from the start. In any case, there is already a lot of interest in it. Joining is possible with a minimum contribution of 12 euros per month. The membership fee is used for the organization of various events, for exchange and for the implementation of projects such as educational programs.

The aim is to be and promote a growing region in all respects. Daniela Zeiner: “The topic of a sustainable region is paramount. We want to think and act sustainably in all areas in the long term and anchor such an awareness even more.”

The network initiators thus have their finger on the pulse of the times and the concerns of the members, as the short surveys from autumn/winter 2021 showed.

In any case, on March 22, interested parties will have the opportunity to discuss various key topics and ask questions in the TIC Steyr. Initiatives and events will also focus on the topics “educational region”, “entrepreneurial region”, “working region”, “digital region” and “industrial region”.
