TsPVS reported wounding of three Syrian soldiers during shelling by militants

Over the past day, militants of the Jabhat al-Nusra group (a terrorist group banned in the Russian Federation) carried out two attacks in the provinces of Idlib and Aleppo, as a result of which three Syrian soldiers were injured. This was announced on Sunday, January 23, by Rear Admiral Oleg Zhuravlev, Deputy Head of the Russian Center for the Reconciliation of Warring Parties (CPVS) in the Syrian Arab Republic.

According to him, in the area of ​​​​the settlement of Ruaikh in the province of Idlib, terrorists fired at the positions of government forces from artillery weapons, and two Syrian soldiers were injured.

“In the province of Aleppo, as a result of a sniper attack carried out by terrorists from the Kitian region on the positions of government forces in the area of ​​​​the settlement of Miznaz, one Syrian soldier was wounded,” Zhuravlev added.

The deputy head of the Russian TsPVS specified that one shelling by terrorists was carried out in Idlib, and one in Aleppo.

A day earlier, it was reported that one Syrian soldier was wounded in the area of ​​​​the settlement of Basratun in Aleppo, where terrorists from the Tekad region fired artillery.

In addition, one military man was wounded as a result of a sniper attack by terrorists from the Fatira region on the positions of government forces in the area of ​​​​the village of Kafer Nebel in Idlib, another Syrian military was wounded in the area of ​​u200bu200bthe village of El Fatatuat, also in Idlib.

On January 18, Zhuravlev reported on the plans of terrorists from the Idlib de-escalation zone to carry out terrorist attacks in the ports of Latakia and Tartus.

The Russian military police have begun patrolling the territory of the Khmeimim air base of the seaport.

On January 5, it was reported about shelling by militants of an Islamic group in the province of Latakia, two Syrian soldiers were injured.

On January 3, one Syrian soldier was killed and two more were injured during shelling by militants of Jabhat al-Nusra in the provinces of Hama and Aleppo.

A day earlier, there was an attack on a Syrian military bus by militants of the Islamic State (a terrorist group banned in the Russian Federation), which killed five soldiers and injured 20 more.
