The community of Frankenburg (Vöcklabruck district) is celebrating several anniversaries in 2025 with an extensive cultural program: 400 years ago, on May 15, 1625, a bloody trial took place on Haushamerfeld (today Pfaffing) in which insurgents had to roll for their lives. The Frankenburg dice game has been a reminder of this for 100 years. In addition, the community became a market 404 years ago, an anniversary that fell victim to the pandemic in 2020.
