The general secretary of Truckers, Pablo Moyanospoke this Monday after his resignation last week from the Board of Directors of the General Confederation of Labor (CGT), and asked “build an alternative so that people once again accompany Peronism.”

“We are facing an economic model that is causing a lot of harm to the vast majority of the Argentine people and that generated the need to come together. If we do not understand what is happening, what happened in these 11 months, we did not understand anything“said the union leader.

In that sense, the Camioneros representative stated: “How did this guy (Milei) emerge from nowhere, which was a media construction, “Why not dream that a worker, black or black, reaches the government?”

“Beyond the differences we may have, the union leaders are not going to betray the workers and that is the anger that exists among a large part of the labor movement. I hope that in the next stage there will be more leaders, workers in Congress so that what happened in these months does not happen,” Moyano stressed on the streaming channel EVA TV.

Moyano asked “to put aside the differences that exist because next year in the legislative elections “They are going to come for what we have left.”

“Today the important thing is to build an alternative so that people believe in Peronism again. I hope that this reorganization serves to expand and that there is a call to all sectors to build a serious alternative,” the union leader insisted.

Finally, the Camioneros leader concluded: “The reality is that today he takes as an example Marcos Galperín, as the number one businessman, but he is the biggest exploiter in our country and he is within the government. The same thing happens with Julio Cordero, who is a businessman’s sheep rather than a Secretary of Labor. He is the lawyer of Paolo Rocca and some believe that we must continue dialogue with them but others believe that we have to be on the streets.”

Pablo Moyano presented his resignation to the CGT Board of Directors

The trucker leader Pablo Moyano resigned this Friday in charge as Co-Secretary General of the National Board of Directors of the General Labor Center (CGT) “by not coinciding with the decisions made by the so-called ‘small table’.” The day before, the dialogue sector of the center had met with the Government.

Moyano resigned from his position at the CGT through a brief note sent to the Board of Directors of the plant. For some time he had been asking to maintain a plan to fight against the libertarian adjustment, but recently the dialogue position prevailed.

Moyano’s resignation occurred after the meeting that the dialogue sector, including Gerardo Martínez (UOCRA), held this Thursday with the Government and businessmen of the Group of 6 to address pending issues of the union chapter of the Bases Law. In addition to the meeting, The central office ruled out a new national strike in the middle of the negotiations
